Undersea World of
Cabo San Lucas
Snorkeling tours are plentiful in Cabo.
Getting under the water is one of the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas for sure. These areas feature a variety of fish, calm conditions and generally good visibility. Cabo’s warm waters and rocky reefs are home to a variety of tropical fish. Small coral formations, sea fans, barnacles and gorgonians dot the underwater landscape. Sea stars, trumpetfish, jacks, boxfish, balloonfish, moray eels and mackerel are a common sight. Seahorses hide among the reef and sea turtles feast while you look on. Playful dolphins sometime swim by the boat. During the winter and springtime, if you are lucky you can see a whale shark or humpback.

Chileno Beach
Chileno Beach is safe for swimming and offers excellent snorkeling for older children and adults. are probably the two best snorkeling locations near Cabo San Lucas Mexico. These two beautiful coves are located along the Los Cabos Corridor, between the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. The water is usually calm and clear compared to most other locations in the Cabo area.
Santa Maria Beach
We also love Santa Maria Beach for snorkeling. And we’ve seen whales there too!
As you gaze out to the azure sea you will see the peaceful horseshoe shaped beach with sand the color and consistency of pink rice. Relatively secluded, Bahía Santa María is a protected marine sanctuary, so bring along a bag of bread or tortillas and feed the multi-colored creatures of the deep. This is an excellent spot for snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach. This marine preserve is a prime destination for many charter boats that offer snorkeling and SCUBA diving excursions departing from the Cabo San Lucas harbor. If you want to see a world of friendly colorful tropical fish, this is the place to go. Mornings, when it’s calm, is usually best for optimum underwater visibility. There are no facilities available other than a dirt parking lot and a few beach vendors so bring what you need with you. This is truly one of the most beautiful places in Los Cabos and well worth a visit.
Whale Shark
One of life’s truly staggering adventures, Whale Shark Adventure tour takes you to the Bay of La Paz, 2 hours north of Cabo San Lucas to swim and snorkel with the biggest fish on earth, whale sharks! These stunning creatures can be up to 50 feet (14 meters) in length and weigh up to 66,000 lbs (30 metric tons). Unlike most sharks, they feed on plankton and do not have the large teeth typically associated with sharks

El Arco
The Arch takes place in the bay of Cabo San Lucas. After a short instructional lesson given on the beach, we kayak out to the Arch, past the sea lion colony and around Land’s End into the Pacific.
