Ensenada
Ensenada, nicknamed “The Pearl of the Pacific”, it’s close proximity to the U.S. (just 78 miles south of San Diego), large international expatriate community, diverse landscape, mouth watering sea food, breath taking wine country and more! Modern conveniences, widely spoken English and cultural events make Ensenada an alluring choice as a relocation and vacation destination.
The Pacific Coast beaches provide miles of beach combing, snorkeling, sea kayaking, surfing, sport fishing and gray whale watching! Since the city is on the harbor you need to drive north or south to get to a local beach.
Snorkeling is a peaceful and relaxing activity, and perfect for just enjoying the marine landscape around you.

Beaches of Ensenada
Estero Beach
Estero Beach stretches along the Ensenada coast, offering plenty of opportunities to snorkel, swim or kayak in its peaceful waters. You’ll find plenty of wildlife at Estero, such as seals, sea lions and dolphins, plus some excellent scuba diving spots.
La Bufadora
Playa Arbolitos
Ecological tour through the coastal wetland with much different type of marine life than you may not see before. The cove has a large kelp forest growing up to the water’s surface from below. There are lots of colorful fish including the Garibaldis that live in the cove. You will most likely get to see some of the resident sea lions that will keep a respectable distance on this snorkel shore excursion in Ensenada.
Playa Ensenada
A very cool beach. It stretches about 12 miles (15 km) from the Malecon (boardwalk) near the port of Ensenada down to the Estero Beach Resort on the edge of Todos Santos Bay (which is as big as San Diego Bay) Enjoy the clear blue waters of the Pacific.
Punta Baja Beach
Amazing beachsystem teaming with life. You will take in rare and beautiful birds as they soar above and a variety of fish as they swim below.
